“ Romeo's has been a staple for both quick bites and special occasions! My office used to host our annual holiday party in their back room, and they always did a fantastic job. The room was perfect for a gathering, and their team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The "true Italians" in my office didn't like that they took the salads away before the meal, but I'm sure they had their reasons. Even outside of the holiday season, Romeo's is my go-to for a quick, satisfying slice. Popping in for a couple of hot slices from the front counter never disappoints. “ I haven't been here since 2015 when I worked in the area (see my review of Aljon's too). So I decided to revisit and add it as another stop on my pizza tour of the area . This was one of the memorable pizza spots in the Plainsboro/Princeton area and I was having high hopes. Before walking in I noticed the exterior lighting and seating area that looked well kept since 9 years ago. I walk in (heavy door, pull hard) and noticed a clean Italian-style scooter - nice. I'm a scooter, e-bike, moped, 2-wheel novice enthusiast. Anyway, as I make my way through the second set of doors, the showcase on the left is filled with an assortment of slices (I saw a pepperoni and works slice but no plain - I'll shut up now ) . The dining area (self-serve but they have wait service through another set of doors) was dimly lit - quite intimate for a Wednesday lunch but I'm not complaining. I went with a white slice with broccoli and sun-dried tomatoes and decided to get a second and save it for later. There must've been some sort of misunderstanding but I walked out with 3 and a bottle of water and was charged for 2 - the damage for 2 and the water: $9 and change cash (credit was over $10). All-in-all I would definitely return. The crust was just the way I liked it - nice crunch and no flop. Other ingredients tasted fresh and definitely tasted like it was made earlier today. The other over the top slices looked good so I would give those a shot after work hours. ”
“ I don't care what anyone says about this place but this place is on my comfort food list. My favorite is the vodka pasta slice and the vodka pasta! Their Margarita slice is also very tasty! I keep coming back from my regular and I have yet to try so much more. If you order pastas, they are pretty big portions. The pizza slices are pretty huge so even one slice is fulfilling! They have a self sit down service! You can choose where you want to sit and I think they will bring the food for you. I'm not exactly sure because I never dined inside and mostly did take-out! Must try this place for sure!!! ”
